Democrats are Bad at Speeches
They should stop being bad at speeches.
I was reviewing campaign speeches for a pointless argument on Bluesky where both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris said they would do 25 things.
Trump:
I will end inflation.
I will stop the invasion of criminals coming into our country.
I will bring back the American dream.
I will massively cut taxes for workers and small businesses.
I will support a tax credit for family caregivers who take care of a parent or a loved one.
I will terminate the green new scam and will cut your energy prices in half.
I will never apologize for defending America.
I will protect our workers.
I will protect our jobs.
I will protect our borders.
I will protect our great families.
I will protect the birthright of our children to live in the richest and most powerful nation on the face of the earth.
I will also restore our borders.
I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out.
I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail and to kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible.
I will invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.
I will immediately ban all sanctuary cities in the United States.
I will fix it.
I will tell you, you're not going to have a war with me, and you're not going to have a third world war with me.
I will end the war in Ukraine, which would have never happened if I were president.
I will stop the chaos in the Middle East.
I will prevent World War 3 from happening.
I will defend religious liberty.
I will restore free speech.
I will defend the right to keep and bear arms.
Harris:
I will speak to everyone about the choice and the stakes in this election.
I will tell you, that is the kind of president I will be.

Look, it’s not like Kamala Harris said anything incorrect mind you, but shit, man, I know for a fact that Donald Trump is a tremendous sociopathic lying piece of shit and it just seems obvious on my face that he has the better speech. I don’t give a shit that Kamala Harris has a a to-do list full of priorities. Trump talks about all the concrete shit he’s (not) going to do and Harris mostly doesn’t. As expected from a politician who never had to win a competitive general election in her life.
The next Democratic candidate had better be selected for the ability to give a speech. We really should have kept Obama dry for a darker time. Democrats are so fucking dumb.
